How to delete an OBLAKO VPS
If you no longer need a server, request its deletion in the panel. You can also simply not renew it: it is deleted automatically 3 days after the paid period ends, see expired servers.
Before deleting
- Copy your data. The disk cannot be restored after deletion.
- Update DNS records pointing to the server IP. The address returns to the pool and may later go to another customer.
Request deletion
- Open the server in Servers.
- Go to the Delete tab.
- Click Request Server Deletion.
An administrator confirms the request, then the server is deleted permanently. Until then you can withdraw it with Withdraw request.
No refund
The remaining paid period is not refunded when a server is deleted.
Cancelling an unpaid order
If the order has not been paid yet, you see a Cancel tab instead. Cancel Order cancels the order and its invoice immediately, no confirmation is needed.
